I find it interesting that the people actually implementing support for a standard don't spend much time talking about how great their implementation is. I attribute this to two primary causes:

Posted by bzbarsky at March 16, 2004 12:45 AMThats the usual conflict between marketing and R&D departments in nearly every company. Marketing will sell everything and R&D has then to catch up, but you will never get the marketing peoples to suffer for their promises.
