Two questions:
a) Is it off the trunk, or the 1.5 branch?
b) Will 0.7.1 be mac-only, or available on win/linux too?

off the branch (that's the policy for .release.subs...
... and for MacOS X for now.

I don't see much of a startup difference on a 1Ghz tiBook but pages do seem to load faster and the UI is definitely more responsive. Great work!

Looks good. Only thing that continues to bug me...
Prefs / about show up as sheets.
Oh well.

Pinstripe would be a nice default theme for Firebird OSX, but I doubt you developers would want to have the inconviences of keeping up with two seperate themes.
