0.7.1 Performance
Well, I've run tests on prebinding on the 0.7.1 optimized builds I made - quantified tests using Timeline testing. Here are the results:
400Mhz PowerMac G3: 27% faster at startup
867MHz PowerMac G4: 40% faster at startup
1.33GHz PowerMac G4: 27% faster at startup
Dual 2GHz PowerMac G5: 14% faster at startup
SCORE!
Clearly this is having the greatest effect in the mid-range G4s... I'd like to swipe Dave's 667MHz TiBook for a short while to do some testing on that, and I don't really notice much difference on my G5, but the difference on the 867Mhz and 933MHz G4s I tested felt huge.

So when can we expect to have these made available? Sounds enticing, especially in that I'm currently part of that mid-range G4 group.
