I was raised a pacifist and I have no doubt I'll die a pacifist, but today I live in a gray space somewhat off to the side.
I don't know it like I did as a child when the most powerful people in the world, my parents, gave it to me in perfect black and white. I do believe that with continued thoughtfulness I will find my way back to that simplicity, but I do not see the crisp line today.
In the mean time, I am confident saying that I am generally opposed to violence, that I have no mortal enemies, and that I take no joy in anyone's death.
