Is it possible to leave out the foul language.

Posted by: Gary King | May 5, 2009 5:03 PM

What "foul language"?

"Fuck is the self-titled debut release from the indie rock band Fuck. The album was self-released and only available on cassette. All the songs on the album eventually ended up on later releases."

That was some wicked shit (er) feces!
I was reacting to it like I was watching fireworks after drinking 3 cans of Red Bull and 5 cups of coffee.
The flip off of the tree was probably my fav.

By the way, what's a "cassette"?

I joke. I still have 3 recorder/players in great condition.

"foul language"? oh, some of you Americans are strange people .....
Besides of this: it is Asa's personal blog so he can write everything he wants to write.

Yeah, totally amazing. Worth a tweet!

Only idiots need to use words like Fuck to get a point across. And whoever is bad mouthing Americans go fuck yourself. Now does that make it better?

Posted by: Gary King | May 6, 2009 11:32 AM

OK, since you people like the word. The idiot that is bad mouthing American's , go FUCK yourself. Now does that make it better and clear. Yes ASA can write whatever he wants, but to use the word Fuck is not necessary.

Posted by: Gary King | May 6, 2009 11:35 AM

You people are bad mouthing American's because we like to use clean language. Well Fuck You. Better now!

Posted by: Gary King | May 6, 2009 11:37 AM

Gary, I'm an American, so is Asa. I personally would not title a post with that word in it but especially being an American, I strongly support ones choice to express themselves however they choose. If I find something personally offensive and is what I consider to be inappropriate, I always have the choice of not bothering with the offending person or organization.

Now someone could bring up the point that Asa is a Mozilla employee and this isn't a good way to represent himself or Mozilla, but this blog isn't hosted on an official Mozilla site. It's a personal blog. I'd be willing to disable all of my Firefox add-ons and tweaks for a week if you could show me Asa using offensive language on an official Mozilla site.
On second thought, I'm not giving up anything, I just don't see it ever happening.

In all honesty, I wouldn't approve of profanity being used on certain sites and services and I too would speak up about it, but again and I must stress that this is a personal blog. If it wasn't, I'd be right on board with you.

This is actually pretty fascinating. I'm glad that this came up.

Gary... I thought you were being sarcastic at first, but it seems like I overestimated you.

Let me quote you: "Only idiots need to use words like Fuck to get a point across.". After having said that, you used the word Fuck 4 times. Which makes you a level 4 idiot, I guess (without even taking the triple posting in consideration).

Gus, that is hilarious! Thanks for sharing.

What was this post originally about anyway?

Posted by: Ken Saunders | May 7, 2009 3:07 PM

Infuckingcredible! ...the guy on the bike and some of this discourse.

I'm having a laugh. Thanks Ken & Gus & Asa.
