audio/video problems in firefox 3? get flash player 10
If you've been experiencing problems with video or audio in Firefox 3, you should head over to the Adobe website and get the newly released Flash Player 10.
I've been using the pre-release version and it's been working out just great, none of the YouTube pauses or audio failures. Plus, I'm sure it's got security improvements and other changes that you'll want too.
reactions, thoughts, comments, etc.
I just installed it and don't notice the erratic pauses in flash video anymore. Also, kudos to adobe for providing a .deb package for ubuntu!

I stopped using the Flash 10 beta, because several websites did not work. It is still a problem. Some can only handle Flash 9
I totally agree with you Oscar - Super that Adobe made a .deb version!!!

As a Linux user, I'm very happy with Flash 10. The beta still had some stability problems, but since the RC it's been working beautifully. Practically all Linux-specific problems were solved, from crashes to deadlocks to PulseAudio incompatibility to overlapping. Big kudos to Adobe.

Personally I was never able to get V10 working on a new Dell with Vista Premium (even with everything running as admin). Did all the tricks of uninstalling old and installing new, etc. At work we have found that Adobe Breeze does not work for users that have upgraded to V10 and have instituted a ban on upgrading to V10. This is on workstations with XP Pro.

My newly installed Firefox 3.0.3 keeps crashing every 3 minutes.
And it doesn't work with Adobe Flash.
Any suggestions?
