vote for firefox
Firefox is racing to the head of the pack, overtaking Linux's Tux, that freakish little BSD devil guy, and all the others. Help him finish strong by heading over to GroundWork (anyone heard of them?) and registering your vote for Firefox.

LOL, what kind of loser care about some random poll in some random site. There are millions of polls everyday from all those unknown little sites, and none matters anyway. Is your ego really this small that it can make you feel better when Firefox wins some random poll in some random crappy site that no one ever heard of anyway? Or are you trying to advertise that crappy site for some ulterior motives?

But isn't the Firefox logo copyrighted and not free to use, hence the branding in Iceweasel?

@demon: Beastie is also not free to use. Also, I believe the poll is not only about the logo itself, so it is not all that bad.

well kiddos I am a senior citizen back on the internet,my server provides me with netscape which by the way is not supporting its software since 3/08;internet explorer has all kinds of flaws,I downloaded firefox3 by mozilla I have been using it for 3 days.It is super compared to the previous mentioned. I will always give credit when I believe it is due.I am very grateful for the opportunity to use it and ain't ashamed to say so

I love Firefox and the Mozilla project in general, but hopefully that
very encumbered logo will never come to represent open source.

LOL kiddo so you are a senior citizen with a kiddo mentality, no wonder. you should not be ashamed for using Firefox, but you should be really ashamed for being such a kiddo dork at your senior age. Or are you also advertising for that crappy site for some ulterior motives? Or maybe you are too senile already, lol

I think the poll is indeed only about the logo itself, since the poll options are not "Linux", "BSD", "GNU" systems. The options are "Tux", "Beastie", "Gnu", so the "Mozilla Firefox" here is obviously not about the Firefox browser, but about the Firefox logo.
The poll is useless, everyone knows that Tux is the most popular open source icon, the Firefox icon is just not as good as Tux.

I mean it might be about a generic “Firefox fox”. Which doesn't help much, though, since Foxkeh also is propietary.
So the poll fails, since Firefox and Beastie win, but we have to remember that it said "open source" and not "free software".

So the poll fails, since the non-free logos win, but we have to remember that it said "open source" and not "free software".
