180 million firefox users - great birthday present
We've passed 60,000,000 active daily users. That should translate into about 180,000,000 total active users. Amazing!
The last major milestone for Mozilla that fell on my birthday was the release of Mozilla 1.0 in 2002.
reactions, thoughts, comments, etc.
I think Firefox 3 adoption is going to be absolutely off the charts. I've been a fan of Firefox since it came out, and a Mozilla fan before then, but I think Firefox 3 is a bigger deal today than Firefox 1 when it first came out. I can't wait for Firefox 4 and for mobile Firefox. I sure hope Firefox makes a mobile version of Firefox that runs on a JVM so we can use it across multiple platforms, as opposed to only being able to run it on Windows Mobile.
OK, and I feel like being a little selfish now... Has anyone looked at a bug 429242? Is it a real bug? Can anyone besides me duplicate it?

Glad you enjoyed the gift. Let me tell you, getting 60,000,000 people together all at once was HARD!

Truly awesome numbers.
I suspect that the number of actual users could be even higher considering the fact that many people share a single instance of Firefox on the same computer.
Happy belated birthday Asa! :)
