nasa shows first phoenix photos from mars using firefox

Lots of folks have seen this, but in case you aren't watching live, NASA JPL is sharing the first images from the Mars Phoenix Lander at the Martian North Pole using Firefox 2 on Mac.

Gotta love the Phoenix logo too. If that doesn't have "Mozilla-like" logo influences I don't know what does.*

Glad to see a safe landing, can't wait for pics to come.

[*] This is a good thing. More "brand" awareness (even if it isn't part of the brand) helps solidify the market. E.g. no one says that search results must be exactly like Google, but look at Yahoo, MSN, etc's results... the color schemes all seem to work the same way.

The other day I was watching CNN and on their big tv they were using Firefox and flipping through the tabs.
