firefox 3 release candidate one - great review
Percy Cabello, over at the estimable Mozilla Links, has a great review of FIrefox 3's improvements.
I'll try to round up the rest of the great coverage, but the early reviews and responses are overwhelmingly positive. I have no doubt that this is not only the best browser we've ever shipped, but it's the best shipping browser, period.
reactions, thoughts, comments, etc.
I had no idea you could duplicate tabs now. That's one more extension gone.

I love FF3. I've been using the awesomebar non-stop since it showed up. I even just typed "asa" to get here. :P
As a developer, FF3 is making my life far easier. We're probably going to target FF3 for our release (making FF2 work as best as we can), meaning we can do all sorts of cool things faster.
Thanks to all the devs!

I wonder if you are being selectively blind so you didn't see what Percy said here :
http://mozillalinks.org/wp/2008/05/firefox-3-release-candidate-1-is-here/
"I noticed the installer has a checkbox to set Firefox as the default browser checked by default. This seems too pushy for users just trying it for the first time. Neither Opera 9.5 nor Safari 3.1.1 installers attempted to do the same."
And this is from a Firefox evangelist.

Sorry for being negative, but since my last update to firefox 3 RC1 my internet experience has gone wrong.... It looks like it has terrible problems fetching external object requests, as if I were constantly loosing tcp/ip packets, but that is not the case...
I have no idea on how to investigate further on this bug, or if it is even a bug, but if someone has the same experience we should investigate further...

I want to update on what it seems to be a firebug bug, the new version of the extension and the only one compatible with Firefox 3 is far from perfect... I have disabled it and my internet experience seems to be back to normal... I hope anyone reads and comments if I'm right or wrong
