Here he is. What an adorable and friendly little guy he is. Click the photo to see the rest of the set at Flickr. I'll be posting more in the coming days.

That's a very good point and just one reason this was supervised time outdoors. He seemed to enjoy the decompression time during his first day in the green grass after living for a while in the dust, brush and dead grass of his temporary mini-orchard home. He slept in a medium sized pet carrier in the garage the first night (he still really likes sleeping in it if placed in his xpen at night) and then we treated him with a couple drops of Advantage just in case of any little critters along for the ride. So while giving it a few hours to do its job, he got some outside time. (I mentioned that burrowing thing to Asa). He generally spends his time indoors especially with the unusual heat we've had this week. I did watch a lot of Bugs as a kid...still love Bugs. I appreciate the observation and pointer. If you have any more, they are surely welcome. Thanks!

Unfortunately "rabbits burrow" pretty much exhausts my supply of rabbit knowledge. Glad you're keeping a close eye on the little feller [or whatever the sex may be].

If you'd watched enough Bugs Bunny as a child, you'd know that rabbits is burrowin' critters. The serious implications of which are that you could wake up one morning to find that your adorable little bunny has dug its way out of the pen and is on the loose again. That's exactly what happened to some people I knew who were keeping a pet rabbit in an outdoor pen like yours. They never saw it again.
