yay! hubble gets service mission

I'll have more on this later, but I wanted to pass on the good news. The Hubble Space Science Telescope will get another service mission to replace failed gyroscopes and batteries and should give it another 6 years of operation.

This is wonderful news!

reactions, thoughts, comments, etc.

Now if we can only get Mike and the 'bots to stop breaking the Hubble, and we'll be set!

But are there any other optical space telescopes planned after the Hubble quits for good? We can't glue one onto the James Webb somehow, can we?
