Can you also post a link on your Mozilla.com press center... It get in the mdia and all and is marked "serious" and "recently the amount of security flaws in Firefox are rising" while it not true.
Also, he says the other speaker, Andrew Wbeelsoi, was the one who claimed the 30 other vulnerabilities. After Spiegelmock's declarations however it seems unlikely they may exist, but Window's decision to keep on investigating is the sensible way to go.
The thing is the first claims were well covered all around and Mozilla must definitely issue a press release on the events so far.
some stupid site has put on titles as "firefox is a strainer" or "firefox has 30 security flaws", it's not possiblle to live with such a ignorant press.
i have tried to explain that it was a misunderstoodment, but for them it's true and they are telling everyone that firefox is an insecure browser because it has 30 security flaws... and those "hackers" are mantaining the secrets to sell them to microsoft... such a stupid idea...
@mak77.. dont worry that website not even doing anything, it's like a needle in the crapshack.. it's not like it were on the news like dateline.. or e-hollywood true stories.. "Firefox affected by 30 security exploitz OMG!"
Hello, I know this isn`t the right place to report, but I don`t know how to use bugzilla... I don`t know if this is a known bug or not but i wish to let you know.
I just openned a new tab and at the same time i got a connection error in mozilla ftp. This froze my firfox session. Could not click the "ok" in the error dialog nor close firefox, minimize, etc... However the loading animation at the tabs remained working... I had to close firefox 2 RC 1 through task manager. Talkback was enable but did not reported anything... If any of you is interested i can send you a screenshot of this...
reactions, thoughts, comments, etc.
So the exploit he unveiled and talked about, he can't even get it to work himself. So this whole thing has been pretty much a complete hoax ?

maybe not a complete hoax, but something to check... Actually, they're testing if malicious code can be run because of that bug...

Wouldn't it be in his best interest as a black hat to tone it down, so that mozilla looses interest and his zero-day don't get patched?
