opportunity - 800 martian days and counting

This week the Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity marked it's 800th sol (martin day) with more than 4.6 miles on its odometer. Spirit, Opportunity's older sibling, has been on Mars about a month longer and has more than four and a quarter miles on its odometer.

These amazing machines keep going and going.

Not quite from Mars but did you know that somebody is making a NASA themed Firefox theme. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=408286

OMG those things are still going? I kept track at the start of the mission and some of the pictures are amazing. It's been a while since I last checked, I didn't think they'd still be running! Amazing!
