awesome new shirt at the mozilla store
If you're one of the hundreds of thousands of people actively using Bugzilla on the Mozilla projects or any other project, you won't want to be without this awesome new shirt we've got up at the Mozilla Store. The photo there doesn't do it justice. It's gorgeous, crisp, and very vivid. Beat the rush and get your shirt now. They're sure to sell out quickly and you don't want to be the one Bugzilla user without a Bugzilla t-shirt :-D
reactions, thoughts, comments, etc.
I like that, got any other colors besides black? sweaters? ties? the whole nine yards. I'd feel up my closet a-stat.

Sorry, but I can't see the point of wearing anything other than a Firefox t-shirt - a brand that people recognize. And if they don't - it's something worth telling them about. (I can't see myself going around explaining to people what bugzilla is. Even if I did they probably wouldn't understand...)

David, there are a lot of people who aren't even involved in Firefox that use Bugzilla. It's the most widespread open source bug tracking system on the planet.
I'm gonna wear both my bugzilla shirt and my firefox shirt :-)

Asa, congratulations! You have achieved full mastery of marketing bullshit-speak! Now remind me, are we supposed to believe what you say about Firefox, or dismiss it along with claims from other truth-stretchers such as http://www.theregister.co.uk/2003/10/22/ballmer_on_why_windows/ ?

Asa raises a good point - while Bugzilla certainly doesn't have the "recognizability" of Firefox, there are a number of organizations using it - http://www.bugzilla.org/installation-list/.
Besides, the "cute" factor of the logo is high, and I think it is a good product to offer to our store customers. The idea for this shirt actually grew out of the Bugzilla developers mailing list, and we will also use this shirt to reward some of the folks that are working hard on the Bugzilla product. So when we launch a new product don't always think of the shirt in terms of just something we are going to sell on the store site.
BTW, I wish people would wear more than just the Firefox logo-wear. Thunderbird is cool, and so are the Mozilla tshirts. In fact, Asa and I have discussed the idea of doing a Mozilla "Classic" line of tshirts, etc. What do you think? The old "Hack" stuff still makes me nostalgic.

Bugzilla's just as important as Fx when it comes down to brass tacks so I think its high time that they had a T-shirt or a coffee mug of the logo. If someone doesn't know what it is at least they'll probably like the artwork y'know.
I agree with Marcia though, Thunderbird's great and a Mozilla classic line of T-shirts would be cool, especially if the Corp or Foundation could get Dave Titus to do the art for em, though it could be a difficult proposition if AO-Hell decides to get whiney about their IP.

Am I the only one that can't see the larger images of anything at the Mozilla store? I get a white page with a "close" link that does nothing, and no image. The image URL that appears in the page source give a 404 error if I try to open it directly. It's been this way for as long as I can remember.

Daniel: We will be launching a European store soon, and I hope we can carry a Bugzilla shirt there. Look for that store to launch in November.
Kevin: You can file a bug in Bugzilla if you are having issues with the store site.

I think you can ignore my comment. I found that it was working today when I tried from work, and realized that the problem is probably a greasemonkey script I have installed for disabling javascript windows. It's too bad that the store uses the javascript pseudo-protocol (instead of a proper link with a javascript onclick), but it does work, at least for people with javascript turned on.
