If you know of any good online resources for current aerial photos or videos of Jefferson Parish, especially the south of I-10 and above the river, please let me know. Thanks.

You're welcome.

While not the area that you mentioned, this image of New Orleans may be of use to others.

WWL-TV in New Orleans is streaming their coverage online and they have some great areal footage. Also, Google Earth has some great overlays, including this one which shows the reach of the flooding in Orleans, Jefferson and St. Bernard Parishes.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effect_of_Hurricane_Katrina_on_New_Orleans seems to be collecting good pictures at a decent rate.

NOAA is posting high-resolution images here, but I was unable to get the site to load. My understanding is that it's just Mississippi right now, but that the available images will be expanded in the future.

excellent links, thanks!
does anyone have any on the neighborhood of Kenner?
I have cousins who live(d) there and can't find much detail on level of flooding or damage in that area. TIA.

I don't know what all areas are covered in this page, but it has some before and after comparisons:

CNN has some before and after shots. Again, not sure if this includes the area you're talking about.

Hope you've seen Google Earth now has over 100 images all over the coast, esp. New Orleans.

Also, Google Maps now has special images from Katrina - just go to maps.google.com and type in "new orleans", then click the red "Katrina" button, next to the map/satellite/hybrid buttons.
