what a day
I feel like I should post something profound but I'm just exhausted and don't have it in me. I suppose I should have prepared something ahead of time for this blog post but making Firefox better took precedence.
Thanks, definitely, to everyone who helped make this release happen. We're all very proud of it and we hope you enjoy it.

Wow, I haven't been able to access Mozilla.org or SpreadFirefox.com since this morning when I first tried (around 8am). The only way I got my hands on 1.0 final was thanks to Mozillazine which seems to be doing better than the other websites.

What an excited day, both news.com.com and eweek.com have big headline.
I learned some tips from the new firfox start page. I added mail icon into navigation toolbar. I have Netscape 7.2 as my default mail client, but my outlook comes up when I click new message. This is really weird.

http://www.google.ca/firefox , WOW, i didn't know that..but only the start page is changed, the rest is just regular average joe google :D..
and CONGRATZ... (appx) 2 years since this day I switched to Phoenix/Firebird/Firefox (reg in MozillaZine around 26/11/2004).....What a nice anniversity present to me :D
now let's see if we can break 10mil mark in 1 week

I'm pretty tired myself. I wanted to be up to release Portable Firefox right after Firefox 1.0. (4am Eastern time... *yawn*) I suggest we pick a mid-day release time for future releases. Sleep is good :-)
I can't wait to see how many downloads Firefox is getting. If downloads from my server of Portable Firefox are any indication, it's gonna be big! I've already pushed 6 Gigs today. I'm trying to move to mozdev as we speak so I don't have to pay bandwidth overages again, but my login isn't allowing me to upload the app itself. *sigh*
