Is there an easy way to import all my mail from Mozilla to Thunderbird? Last time I tried, none of my mail came over, but my settings did.

mike, all you have to do is take the file containing all your emails (profile directory>mail>(name of your mail folder)>inbox
and copy it into local folders in thunderbird. tb will generate any new files you'll need. you'll notice there's two "inbox" files. take the one without the extension (there is inbox and inbox.msf, copy inbox). proceed for any other folders/files you have mail in.

I have been looking, searching for a new email client for OS X to replace the painfully slow Mail.app. Thunderbird seems to be a valid replacement except for a couple of things:
1) Only the default theme in the OS X version works - the rest suffer from disappearing scrollbars
2) There needs to be an easy way to reopen the main window after you close it - right now this can only be done by quitting and relaunching Thunderbird.
3) I'm sure this isn't a Thunderbird issue and I know Apple uses the mbox format, but is there any way to get my mail imported from Mail to Thunderbird?
I understand that it is only at .2 and things are looking strong. Keep up the good work.

Its amazing how Scott (and others) work on this project. Every milestone is really well tested. I am truly impressed of the quality of the milestones.
