Hmmmm. It would seem to me, based on the numbers of browser add-ons that extension developers aren't really shying away from developing for Firebird at all. With 61 extensions for the several-year-old Mozilla SeaMonkey and 100 extensions for the one-year-old Mozilla Firebird, I'd say it was just the opposite. It seems like Firebird has sparked quite a bit more development interest than SeaMonkey.
