Eric, over at ROACHFIEND.COM, is soliciting ideas for a new Firefox extension. Head over and tell him what you'd like to see in a new extension and maybe you'll get lucky :-)
Posted by asa at July 7, 2005 09:52 PMThat ROACHFIEND.COM link seems to hang, at least partially:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.9) Gecko/20050707 Firefox/1.0.5
Blue G3, OSX 10.3.9.
I've had to restart Ff twice now.
Can anyone else try that link with the latest Ff 1.0.5 test build?

Eddie: works fine for me with yesterday's Deer Park nightly.
Posted by: Rishi Maharaj on July 8, 2005 03:45 AMI'd love to see an extension that forces caching of form data on back/forward, even when the html states to discard it. I've had way to many instances where I accidentally navigate away from such pages and anything I've entered is lost.
Posted by: Jeff on July 8, 2005 05:22 AMOh my god, It would seem I navigated back and didn't go forward. Please ignore the above post. I feel liek an idiot.
Posted by: Jeff on July 8, 2005 05:23 AMI tried to offer my idea but no one really cares or liked it, but I think it would be useful for most, also that site catches me as a spammer..
Posted by: Grand.com on July 8, 2005 12:23 PMSame results as Eddie got here, seems to be Mac-only, and it's dependant on the the stylesheet. When I save the html file to filesystem and open it, FF will do that thing where the UI works but the html area dies. Remove the stylesheet tag in HEAD, and it's fine.
Firefox 1.0.4 Mac OS X 10.3.9, with no extensions enabled.
Posted by: pepp5 on July 8, 2005 03:01 PMThat ROACHFIEND.COM link above still breaks the 8 JUL 2005 build:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.9) Gecko/20050708 Firefox/1.0.5
Blue G3, OSX 10.3.9.
