In case you haven't contributed yet, head over to Mozillazine and help us define the categories for the 2005 Mozilla Community Awards. We don't want to miss your category so please let us know by posting in that Mozillazine talkback.
Posted by asa at May 10, 2005 10:58 AMGet those chicken-chokers at sfx to answer some frickin' questions on Mozillazine and we'll talk.
Posted by: Spewey on May 10, 2005 05:34 PMSpewey, what on earth do you mean and why the attitude?

Posted by: Asa Dotzler on May 10, 2005 05:36 PMsfx is useless when we have 10 jillion n00bs going buttznutz over whatever the problem du jour is and nowhere near the manpower to turn the tide. If you continue to expect the volunteers at mZ to care, please be aware that we exist.
And take your capitalist Boxley and....
Posted by: Spewey on May 10, 2005 07:15 PMSpewey, I don't understand what the SFX users have to do with my requesting that Mozilla community members nominate categories for Mozilla Community Awards. Neither do I understand what "take your capitalist Boxley and ..." means.

Posted by: Asa Dotzler on May 10, 2005 07:19 PMI think you are negligent in overlooking many of the valuable contributors to MozillaZine. The extension authors who also answer questions. The moderators who vanquish crime. The historians who battle ridicule. Start there. Cough up some coins; this is how you got here.
"Boxley" is in Blake's post and his blog choked on my post.
I don't know what it is but I'm disturbed.
Spewey, seems like you're suggesting that we should have some of the Mozillazine contributors recognzied. Am I understanding you correctly? If so, then yes, I agree. How about you spend a few minutes and post some categories for Mozillazine people. That _is_ the _point_ of the post.

Posted by: Asa Dotzler on May 10, 2005 08:13 PMNo problem.
Humblest powerhouse? Unarmed
Bitchy wisdommeister? Thumperward
Broadest understanding? Cusser
xpi fu? asqueela
Anything less than a kiss from Mitchell is inadequate.
Sez me.
A few months ago it would have been someone else.
I don't even want to talk about it until you guys get over the fact that you haven't ever recognized what the forums mean to your success. It's just there. Go 'there' and get sorted out. Well, guess what? Reward them with laurels or pay later.
Posted by: Spewey on May 10, 2005 08:37 PMSpewey, you seem bothered that we're trying to identify and award the Mozilla Community. I don't understand your rants here. If you'll look back over the forums and if there are any caches of the old forums and the Mozillazine talkback before that, you'll see that I've spent more than my fair share of time at Mozillazine. I'm happy to see you offering up some category suggestions (have you posted those in the talkback at Mozillazine?) but the rest of your comments here seem counter productive.
