it's getting annoying...

what is annoying, name? The success of Firefox, or having it rubbed in your face all the time? ;-)

downloads do not mean success.
i'm all about firefox and wanting it to be sccessfull but if name means that [s]he's tired of hearing about the number of downloads, i certainly don't blame him/her.
i can understand mentions of 25 million.. 50 million.. 100 million.. but this daily/hourly update stuff is getting rediculous. is news in the mozilla world that slow where the only thing to talk about is how fast numbers tick on a counter?
focus on market percentages, or go back to talking about Mars. At least there was some substance there.

as a firefox user, i say.. let's not embarrass ourselves by overkill.
people do and will get sick of hearing about it when it's constantly brought up.
