I'd like to purchase an album but can't find it anywhere. If you know of a source for "Lick My Decals Off Baby" by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band on CD, please let me know. Thanks.

Posted by: Alan on April 21, 2005 07:26 AMOK, I'm going to date myself here but I remember *seeing* them do this tune at a live performance.
Of course, no one seemed to get it. I talked with the someone in the band at that show, and it was very frustrating for them.
Yet another reason why I need to take my turntable in for a cleaning: I literally have a wall of "vinyl" that I have forgotton about over the years !

Me, too. About 1,500 vinyl LPs, most of which I don't expect to see re-issued in CD format. My turntable just got replaced.

"Trout Mask Replica" is still one of the most brilliant albums ever made. Still listen to it occasionally, and Beefheart on this album still amazes me with each listen.
