Yahoo! is now officially supporting Mac and Linux Firefox with their new Yahoo! toolbar. The latest rev also has some improvements. I think it's just wonderful the kind of support we're getting from these major players in the tech industry. Send 'em some of your testing goodness over at the Yahoo! Search Blog.
Posted by asa at April 5, 2005 09:06 PMI recently noticed that the A9 toolbar supports Firefox (Mac and Linux), as well as Mozilla, although I had some problems with the Mozilla version...

Posted by: David Naylor on April 6, 2005 03:25 AMUntil the Yahoo! Companion toolbar comes out of beta (there are some significant problems with it), don't forget to try the community-developed Companion for Yahoo (companion.mozdev.org). As it currently stands, it is much better than the official version (it better supports customization and handles non-English languages a LOT better). I use it all the time (I am a very minor developer on the project).
