Ben has an informative post up over at his weblog where he discusses some of the changes that are coming up for the application and the division of labor among the core Firefox hackers.
Posted by asa at March 10, 2005 03:18 PMBen's post addresses some of the misunderstandings that were triggered by recent discussion, but is a bit lacking in detail as a response to Mike's blog entry. Who is the "we" that's doing the work for Firefox 1.1 - the engineers that are going to be assigned to various tasks?
Mike pointed out that of the 5 Firefox peers, he was the only one really doing much, while Ben was busy hacking on stuff. mconnor, bsmedberg and bryner were already doing bits of work - does this mean they are going to be doing more? If not, then it still seems that most of the work will be down to Ben himself - if he can find time to do more reviewing and big picture stuff, that's great, but it still seems like less Firefox front-end hackers than there were in the run-up to 1.0.
