The mozillaZine alternative, called MozillaNews.org, has been without an update since December 20th of last year. Almost seven weeks without any news has me wondering.
Posted by asa at February 5, 2005 09:42 AMguess I should've been posting here since they banned me at the Mozillazine for pointing out memory quirks, so much for free forum...
Posted by: Billy on February 5, 2005 09:51 AMIt seems as though several are flaking out. The Burning Edge used to be updated much more often... sadly it appears Jesse has gotten a bit busy.
IMHO it was one of the best sites out there. By far the most useful. Only Gemal's Blog Updates do I visit more.
Posted by: Robert Accettura on February 5, 2005 10:16 AMBilly, how about you quit hijacking my posts to complain about your memory and mozillazine problems. OK? Thanks.

Posted by: Asa Dotzler on February 5, 2005 12:52 PMI saw www.mozilla-news.org yesterday... seems to be a new alternative, which started at thursday...
Posted by: me on February 5, 2005 03:30 PMWhilst it's true The Burning Edge doesn't update as much as it used to, for me peter(6)'s threads on mozillazine kinda make up for that. And The Burning Edge also has lots of other useful information that isn't easily found in other places, so it's still relevant.
Posted by: chob on February 5, 2005 03:40 PMThere is always mozillaquest! :)
Posted by: Doron on February 5, 2005 03:49 PMJust watch, they'll report Asa post as news -- just to prove him wrong!
Posted by: Block Sheep on February 5, 2005 04:19 PMEven without actual news content, MN's Bonsai Watch is still useful - or at least interesting. I find the RSS to be easier than Peter's list in the MZ forums, and their redirect script is good to at least pretend to ward off pointless comments :)
Posted by: Mook on February 5, 2005 07:44 PMI believe at least one of the contributors is gone at the moment. At least, he does not respond to bugmail anymore either.
Posted by: Anne on February 6, 2005 03:32 PMWe're not dead yet! I've been trying to gather some other folks who can post news, as I've been having some moving/connectivity issues the past two months. Plus, on Jan 31 I suffered a spectacular HDD failure from which I'm still recovering. I promise we'll be back soonish. Glad Asa still checks us out. :)
