Thanks so much for the plug, Asa. I think that the best permalink to give is the one for today's date... as I've kinda dedicated myself to a one-day frenzy of posting and then life will resume as normal (whatever that is) tomorrow.

All the pictures linked to (except for the flash animation) seem to be 404 now. From what I've seen all over the place, the ESA seems to be attempting to keep a tight lid on the data. JPL even posted some pics and then quickly removed them. What's the deal? NASA was a lot more forthcoming with the pictures from Mars.
