Asa,

Is there any way that the Spread Firefox blogs will be added to Mozillazine's Feedhouse? Using that helps me cut a lot of time off my blogging and let's me have less feeds going (avoids clutter). Just wondering.

It's neither...

However, why would Homer be using Safari on a PC unless he had managed to compile OS X for X86?

it's not safari, safari tabs come from the bottom of the toolbar and down, not up like the other browsers. also on safari the back and next buttons for one, they arent separated like in the picture.and lastly that doesnt have a close tab button, so it aint firefox either.

It's neither. Best fit is Netscape 7.0 on Mac OS Classic. Note the four buttons at the left (Back, Forward, Reload, Stop) match the default Netscape 6 setup. Also, the style of the Location bar is very much like Netscape 6 Modern (the whole area is outlined) with an Internet Keywords dropdown to the left (Netscape 7.0 was the last version to feature such a dropdown) and a Search button to the right. The browser tab is also very Modern style (though the icon on the left looks more like a Safari close tab button than a site icon).

Compare to http://help.powerup.com.au/help/win9598/netscape7/img/ns7_main.gif.

Didn't this surface a while back? It's probably not even supposed to be a specific browser anyway.

In my last comment, I said 6 a few times when I meant 7.

Looks like Netscape on Mac OS Classic to me.

Heh when I posted it on my blog I never quite expected a discussion on exactly what browser it is. I was just surprised he uses tabbed browsing (the tab is pretty obvious).

It's highly customized Opera. Even Homer S. could customize Opera! Look, he even registered it! :D

What’s all the fuss about ?
It’s obvious to me that he’s using Firefox 1.0 (with image)
