I notice it only seems to auto-complete for "family safe" search terms - it won't auto-complete "free porn", for example.

Posted by: Rory Parle on December 10, 2004 12:18 PMDoesn't work for me. Is it a windows only feature (I'm on Linux)

Posted by: eliot on December 10, 2004 01:09 PMI know this is kinda OT - but it *does* fall under the category of things that 'sure are intersting'... Not sure if you have ever heard of him, but there is a site called Odd Todd that is rather popular. Posted by: James Lawlor on December 10, 2004 02:33 PMAfter a /. comment already found the URL used for Google Suggest, I wonder how long will it take till someone integrates this functionality into the Firefox Googlebar..
Posted by: Noam on December 10, 2004 03:48 PMJust wanted to add, that since the suggestions are sorted by query popularity, this service is actually a Real-Time version of Google Zeitgeist. At least for queries that start with the same letter(s)... ;-)
Posted by: Noam on December 10, 2004 03:57 PMCheckout the first suggestion for 1 (about 4 millions result) and send the query !
