This sure is interesting.

I notice it only seems to auto-complete for "family safe" search terms - it won't auto-complete "free porn", for example.

Check out the first suggestion for "f".

Doesn't work for me. Is it a windows only feature (I'm on Linux)

Works fine for me with Seamonkey trunk on Linux.

I know this is kinda OT - but it *does* fall under the category of things that 'sure are intersting'... Not sure if you have ever heard of him, but there is a site called Odd Todd that is rather popular. Today in his 'Whats Happening' section, he details how his system had been taken over by malware - and how he just switched to Firefox. :-)

Hey, and the first thing that comes up for "f" is Firefox! Nice. :D

After a /. comment already found the URL used for Google Suggest, I wonder how long will it take till someone integrates this functionality into the Firefox Googlebar..

Just wanted to add, that since the suggestions are sorted by query popularity, this service is actually a Real-Time version of Google Zeitgeist. At least for queries that start with the same letter(s)... ;-)

Checkout the first suggestion for 1 (about 4 millions result) and send the query !
The first place is ... for Mozillaaaaa !

Ubuntu's bugzilla has this feature as well, I found it very interesting!

Entering 'fck' will reveal the rest of the common pirated volume license key for Windows XP. *laugh*
