Now that Bird 1.0 is out, will Mozilla 1.7.5 be released soon?

Arnold, yes! We're hard at work on that right now. The 1.7.5 branch has seen a lot of changes since the 1.7 release (the 1.7.1,2,3 releases were tiny security fix releases that didn't include all the work that went into the 1.7 branch for Firefox/Thunderbird/1.7.5) so we've got some testing ahead of us. I'd love your help. You can find 1.7.5 nightly test builds at http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/nightly/latest-1.7/ I'll be posting about this soon.

Thanks - the only nightlies I could find were in the 1.8 series. I'll download one right now. :-)

Thought I would mention that Tbird 1.0 tshirts are available at the store in case anyone is interested - http://www.mozillastore.com/products/clothing/thunderbird10

I am working on having the store get a pic up so you can see the shirt :)

ThunderBird is a very good product, and I think that the Mozilla Fundation should more promote it.
In my mind, the first thing to do is to help end users to find localized version of Thunderbird.
They are on your FTP servers, they are on mozilla-europe.org, BUT they don't are on your official TB page (http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/releases/#download).
Why ? It seems to not be too difficult to just update this page and it will very useful (some of my friend which are not english want to try it, but they don't because they fail to find localized version...).

Other thing, for firefox, the link "Free Download" use the language of my current browser to propose the right localized version. The "Download Now!" link of TB is always English.
