msn search team pushing firefox?

From this Register article it seems like the MSN search team is handing out screenshots of their new search page using Firefox :-) See this example, for example ;-)

Ooh, that's clearly *not* IE.

At the very least, the back and forward arrows are distinctly different in that image as compared to the ones at http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/newsroom/msn/gallery.asp in Microsoft's gallery. Combine that with the distinct number of buttons in the shot (five), the clear second search box, the Go button in between the location bar and the search box, and the two bookmarks shown (at least one of which looks like the Mozilla favicon -- don't know what the other is), and it's pretty clear that 1) it's not IE, and 2) it's Firefox.

Yep, it's definitely clear it's Firefox from this larger version, linked from a link in The Register article:

Remember that several ex-mozilla hackers from Netscape are working on that engine...

Oh, MS do constantly get themselves caught up in muddles ...

Off topic, but I thought I'd share this.
A slightly more humorous take on Firefox press.

what does it matter? i think 99% of people(and that includes MS employees) will agree that Firefox is the better, they're Geeks too.

They can't agree publicly to save their company face.

I didn't need a zoomed pic to know that they were using the browser I know and love
