As usual, most of my extension goes to hell. But this is not a problem because 1.0 is not out yet.
But what looks a bit uncomfortable to me is that the letter spacing in the label of the tabs is smaller in Firefox 1.0 RC. This may not be noticable in English, but for fixed width characters like chinese:

Look like the characters are too close to each others.
