neil's got the lowdown

There are a number of pages out there giving a rundown on what's new with Firefox 0.10. Neil's World, as with several previous releases, has the lowdown.

Also, if you're into reading the nitty gritty details, don't miss The Burning Edge: Bigger Picture. There's some great info there as well.

Yeah, these are the two links I'll use when evangelizing Firefox at a forum I visit. :-)

Hmm, it would be interesting to see (just for the shock effect) how many bugs have been fixed since Firefox 0.9 in 1.0 PR. :-)

Jugalator, you could ask Bugzilla and Bonsai. It's something between 600 and 700 bugs, I think.

Oops, that's including Tbird too. For Firefox+Gecko, I come up with about 520 issues resolved. Thunderbird accounts for another 150 or so.

Yes, I thought that almighty Bugzilla would know the answer if asked, but I had no time to formulate my question. :-D

Err, Neil lowdown is 2 month old and ends with the words
"The roadmap to Firefox 1.0 gives the browser another couple of months before the final release on the 14th September, so there’s plenty of time for the bugs to be smoothed out. It will ship around the same time as the improved IE6 as part of Windows XP Sp2."
Not up-to-date at all.
He claims seveal things are broken that are actually not any more. (Hey i know they were at that time)
