Does anyone know if there exists a really nice migration doc for Firefox? The reason I ask is that I just ran acrosss this success story but it might not have turned out so well. If there exists a "moving from other browsers to Firefox" doc, we should be advertising it better.
Posted by asa at May 12, 2004 04:19 PMThere's nothing that I'm aware of, aside from a few answers to specific questions in the Firefox help FAQ and elsewhere though.
The new importing stuff introduced since 0.8 should be a huge help with migration. Assuming there isn't one, then I don't see a lot of point in writing a new document for 0.8 at this point. When 0.9 is done, it should be easy to make a nice short document - just a walk through the new import stuff, plugin installation, and a few general starting-off tips.

Please see http://www.intuitive.com/blog/ for details and if someone has some suggestions on how to fix the most annoying bugs, please share!
