an institution comes to an end

10 years of "Friends" comes to an end -- and I can proudly say that I have never watched a single episode :-)

As Jon Stewart said, "You know, I've never watched that show and I am sick of it."

I feel so much better now. There are others like me that never watched that show. I tried to watch it, I really did, when it first came out. But there was a problem with the show, IT WAS NOT FUNNY!! and i refuse to be a sheep and follow along like the rest of the USA. My friend told me earlier today "that over 30 millon people will be watching tonight" and that was his reason that i should tune in tonight, not because it was the last one or it is a funny show(its not), but because many others are going to watch! What is wrong with this picture? Asa, I'm 48 sometimes i feel like I'm on the wrong planet or century.

On the other hand, if you haven't watched one single episode, you've missed the opportunity to decide whether or not you like the series in the first place. And I bet you've missed out on a LOT of laughs! :)

If you want to watch a funny sitcom, watch BBC's Coupling, or BBC's Father Ted, or BBC's Red Dwarf, or BBC's...

(Ok, maybe its just me)

Well, I saw it a couple of times, but I never did find it very funny, only mildly.

Hate that show...

I thought it was very funny, but I didn't watch it that much. Its way too 'worldly' for me...the IE user crowd ;P

That would be Jon "Stewart" :).

I think Andy Kaufman said it best

"Sitcoms are the lowest form of entertainment, It's dead people laughing."

I rather enjoyed Friends. Probably because it was just simple fun, as opposed to Seinfeld-esque randomness.
