away for a few days

Expect light or no blogging this weekend. Deanna and I are headed to Louisiana to visit family and I'm leaving the laptop behind.

Have a nice trip. I hope you talk to drivers more about 1.7 being the stable release before you go.

However, I feel you obviously are missing the entire point. (In reference to your discussion on mozillazine.org on april 1st.)

Yes, FX/TB/Camino releases are important. And the fact that they are going to be based on 1.7 is very critical and mozilla.org has to react and make 1.7 acceptable for these releases.

But that is entirely different to calling it the next "long-lived" stable branch.

I agree with you on that, Mozilla.org needs to give priority to it's own products.

The problem is the "screw over" that many embedors will feel when you offer them a "sub-par quality stable branch" than what they would expect from a mozilla.org product.

But reading you posts above, you obviously don't care about the quality of gecko/Seamonkey/and embedors products. This has left me with a very bitter taste.
