ohhh coool

Via MozillaZine:

Project Orb, a Mozilla documentation project has been launched. Project Orb intends to document to end users how to use and configure the Mozilla app suite, Mozilla Firebird, and Camino. The project is located at http://sourceforge.net/projects/projectorb/.

This is one area we can certainly improve and I'm pleased to see this effort starting up.

I don't want to be overly negative, but have you actually seen the project?

So far, it's a couple of roughly written paragraphs which give an overview of the three browsers.

"I have heard from some Windows users that 1.4 does not install correctly. If that occurs you may want to try 1.5 alpha if you are comfortable with an alpha release."

"Firebird split off of the Mozilla organization in the Fall of 2002, so it has become fairly refined. Initially it was only developed for Windows and Linux. Recently the Mozilla Foundation has wanted to integrate Firebird components into the main Mozilla product instead of the Application Suite."

That's not really what I'd call documentation. This project is one guy producing another little document which explains (or tries to) what the different products are, and when he's written more, will give a few tips about some basic functions. I'm not sure we do need more of those - there are several already.
