Wow! I just downloaded the latest Thunderbird build and it sure does look nice. I think it's about time for me to say bye to ./mozilla -mail and make the big switch.

Thunderbird has all the great Mozilla mail and news features that I need, like junk-mail controls (aka spam filtering,) message views, sophisticated filters and support for multiple accounts. And now it has the slick Arvid artwork and customizable toolbars seems to work without problems. Oh, and there's an all new Firebird-style Options window. This is lookin' really slick. Great work guys!

Unfortunately It Doesn't Handle International Charsets As Good As Mozilla Mail Does. I Wonder Why Is This Different, I Thought Thunderbird Will Have Only The New Tookit, But All The Functionality Will Retain In Parity With Mozilla Mail.

I know I am reaching, but. It would be great if Thunderbird could be a front-end for Lotus Notes email server. Lotus Notes as software is so slow and pathetic, that Thunderbird would immediately gain tracktion in that market.

I think it's funny that Thunderbird thinks some of my BugZilla mails are spam

I am brand new to Mozilla and looking for a little advice. Is there a site to handle rookie questions? Also I see you talking about Thunderbird and I am a looking for a mail service that allows more features than the Mozilla mail. Would you suggest looking into Thunderbird?

Thanks
Dan
